Established in 2019, Quoit-at-Cross Vineyard is home to 4,600 vines nestled amongst the upland hills of the mid-Devon countryside. We aim to deliver the highest quality wines and launched our first signature sparkling made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes in 2024, along with a still Bacchus/Chardonnay, and a rosé made from a blend of our Champagne grapes . We won silver at the Food and Drink Devon awards for our first Cuvee, and Bronze for our Bacchus. Since then, our Sparkling Classic Cuvee went on to win Gold at the Food and Drink Devon awards in just our second year. Along with these three wines, we are launching our new Pink Sparkling and Col Fondo in 2026.

Our historic site in the charming village of Stoodleigh has been farmed by the Hill family for almost a hundred years, and our family-run Vineyard, just 5 acres in size, aims to continue this tradition through diversification. Due to our south east orientation, altitude and unique setting, we enjoy panoramic vistas across the Devon landscape, overlooking the Exe valley all the way to the Sidmouth Gap. We are accessible just 20 minutes from the M5, with the bustling market town of Tiverton visible from the vines. From simple beginnings, we are now open for tours, tastings and a range of creative events and workshops. Click here to book a tour and visit us!
